When visiting the Witch City, your enchanting experience should begin the moment you enter the place you plan to hang your (pointy) hat. The Warlock House beckons all those who still believe in the magic of Salem with a vacation rental where it’s Halloween every day of the year. It is a bubbling cauldron for the senses, blending the whimsical fun and festivities of Halloween with the mysteries of Salem Witchcraft.

Step into the Haunting Hallway and be greeted by the warm glow of candlelight - you are immediately immersed in all things Salem. The walls of the Warlock House are decorated with Witch City memorabilia provided by some of Salem's most prestigious attractions, museums, and shops. The Haunting Hallway begins with images of Ouija history. Did you know the Ouija board was once produced in Salem? Yes! On the same street of the Warlock House at the original Parker Brother’s factory. The memorabilia continues with television’s Bewitched, featuring everyone’s favorite sorceress — Samantha Stephens.

_______

Follow the Haunting Hallway to the end, and enter the Spirit Parlour. Work the arts of magic and reveal your destiny. Cast a spell at the authentic Witches’ altar. Peer into the fiery flames of the wondrous wood stove. See visions of things to come. Commune with the spirits through the Ouija board coffee table. Spin the Wheel of Fortune; reveal your future, your destiny. Discover the Scroll of Spells and incant them through the crystal ball. Everyone is magical at the Warlock House.

_______

The Witch’s kitchen pays homage to vintage Halloween with its ghosts, black cats, pumpkins, and Witches that fly across the moon each night. Gather at a 200-year-old dining table beneath a glowing chandelier, enjoy a harvest meal with your family, or perhaps sit for a séance to bring forth the spirits of loved ones past.

The Witch's Kitchen features dining for six, full-sized appliances: fridge, stove, dishwasher, and laundry. Countertop appliances include microwave, Keurig coffee maker, and toaster. True to the magical theme of Warlock house: skull, pumpkin and cauldron glasses, Halloween themed dishes, and so much more.

Experience the magic of the Warlock House - wave your wand, ride your broom, speak your spells, and watch Warlock House come alive. Special smart lighting creates unique moods - selectable by you! In every room of the Warlock House, the lighting can be set to fit your own magical mood. Imagine spooky ghostly blues, autumnal shades, or herbal hues - all available via incantations or a magical touch.

Now let's wander through the sleeping accommodations of the Warlock House:

_______

The Raven's Rest is inspired by the works of Edgar Allen Poe and the spectral flight of ravens—magical creatures that fly through the boundaries between this world and the next, bringing prophecy to those with ears to hear. The Raven's Rest is a gothic delight. The décor is both foreboding and enticing, enveloped in the darkest of shadows, and beckoning those who stay within to discover their power in the eerie mists of dreams.

The Raven's Rest features a queen-sized bed, armoire, bureau, and two bedside-tables with gothic lamps that cast the shadows of skulls upon the walls.

_______

The Herbarium celebrates the Witch as healer — filled with enchanting magical plants. Herbs, both baneful and benevolent, sparkle with fairy light. Herbalism has been part of the arts of Witchcraft from time immemorial. This bewitching boudoir honors the medicine and magic of the natural world.

The Herbarium features a queen-sized bed, closet, bureau, and two bedside-tables with steampunk lamps with Edison bulbs.

_______

Step into the Pumpkin Patch, a nostalgic stroll down a magical memory lane, where children and adults alike will enjoy the flickering faces of jack-o'-lanterns and the autumnal light of Halloweens past, where imagery of festive hayrides, hot apple cider, and harvest moons dance delightfully through their minds.

The Pumpkin Patch features two twin beds, closet, bureau, and one end-table with decorative pumpkin lamps.

Magical Stay!
5/5 stars
My two sisters and I stayed at the Warlock house for a weekend getaway to celebrate a birthday. This place is truly awesome! We loved the scroll of spells, such a cool and different feature for the stay. All of the details (big and small) are perfect! We loved the different room themes, the different lighting options, the witchy plates, silverware, cups, quija coffee table, cutting boards, coasters every last detail is perfect. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash they provide is so nice and feels of great quality. Also In each room, there is a variety of pillows on the bed and in the closet so you have options for the different "pillow sleepers" in your group. All 4 of the beds are super comfortable! The owner is quickly responsive and ensures that we are having a great stay! I seriously cannot say enough great things about this place, the experience is worth every dime! We plan on visiting again in the future.

LOVE for the Warlock House!!
5/5 stars
We were looking for an interesting place to stay for our trip to Salem and we found it in The Warlock House! If you are a Halloween enthusiast, this is the place for you. The website shows the love the owners put into this home and the spooky theme. The home was spotless and the location was very quiet. We loved that each room was different and everything from the décor to the dishes to the special 'incantations' for Alexa added some extra fun. All the lighting was clearly labeled and we enjoyed trying different color combinations. The beds were super comfy after a long day of sightseeing and I loved trying out the different room sprays for an aromatherapy experience. This rental is almost like an attraction in itself! The location is great and easily walkable to any of the Salem museums, restaurants and activities. I appreciated the detailed emails about check in/ out, how to find the property, parking at the site as well as in town, things to see & do in and around Salem. The welcome gift was also a nice touch. I would give it 10 stars if I could and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Kids Weekend
5/5 stars
My daughter who is 9 LOVES Hocus Pocus and especially the witches. We decided to come to Salem to learn about the witches for a fun long weekend. We wanted the house we stayed in to play the part as well and this place was amazing. The details that went in to creating this experience was nothing short of amazing. There are even spells that you can say alexa and they work! The kids loved this. The house was VERY clean the kitchen had everything we need, even little caldron bowls! The kids also loved that. We would definitely stay here again if we were to make the trip and highly recommend that you do as well. There were plenty of extra blankets and pillows as well and enough towels for all. The ages of my kids who stayed in this house were 7, 8, and 9. While it could look a little spooky at times, they enjoyed the details of the house more than were afraid of them.

Different, Unique, and Fun!
5/5 stars
My family (husband and I with 3 older children) stayed in the house for two nights in April. The decorating is over-the-top fun, like spending a night in Disney's Haunted Mansion. The owner overlooked no detail in giving the apartment a spooky, haunted house vibe. From the lighting to the crystal-ball shaped Alexa device to the oversized living room portrait which is really a large-screen tv, everything was in theme. A complimentary bottle of wine was left in the fridge which was much appreciated (no wine-glasses, though. You have to drink your wine out of skull-shaped water glasses.) Their is a Kuerig for coffee in the AM. The house is in easy-walking distance to all the main Salem sites. I recommend this rental for a unique and fun experience in Salem. The iTrip people we booked through were accessible and easy to deal with as well.
